We take the 3D model into the CAM workspace and choose what type of machine and strategy we will use to manufacture that component and then decide how to manufacture that part (turned part, milled part)

Then, different strategies are applied to virtually machine the component. After that it’s passed to the post processor, which takes the virtual machining and turns it into NC code that the machine understands. Post processor will convert the tool path and turn all the lines(tool pass) into the code (NC code) that the machine understands.

NC code is the numerical control code. We can do a full simulation for Gauge check and create an NC code.

When the code is created it gets transferred to the CNC machine or passed back to the customer for them to
